Illingen, Germany & Oslo, Norway, April 14, 2026 – Sister companies Omilon and MARIS Healthcare GmbH are intensifying their collaboration in the field of digital healthcare solutions and are jointly advancing—under the umbrella of NEXUS AG—the expansion of a new business unit for AI-based speech recognition and processing. The goal is to sig-nificantly reduce the workload on medical staff and sustainably optimize documentation processes in everyday clinical practice.

Close collaboration with a clear focus

As sister companies, MARIS Healthcare and Omilon pursue a shared strategic direction: the intelligent integration of clinical information systems (CIS), diagnostic systems, and patient management systems with modern AI and speech technologies. This close col-laboration enables the two companies to strategically combine their existing strengths—ranging from deep process expertise in the healthcare sector to innovative integration and automation solutions.

New Business Unit: NEXUS AI Speech Recognition

At the heart of the collaboration is the newly created NEXUS AI Speech Recognition business unit, in which NEXUS AG strategically brings its two subsidiaries, MARIS Health-care and Omilon, together to work closely. The unit focuses on the development and integration of intelligent speech documentation. Here, solutions are created that convert speech into structured, context-aware medical documentation—directly embedded in existing systems and workflows.

Through its integration platform, Omilon ensures that content – for example from speech and AI solutions such as Corti, Dragon Medical, Tandem Health and Microsoft Dragon Copilot – is automatically stored in the correct patient and document context.
MARIS Healthcare complements this with established clinical applications, deeply in-tegrated HIS processes, and a vendor-neutral connection to various speech recogni-tion systems.

The result: an end-to-end, seamless documentation chain—from spoken information to structured storage in the target system. No extra clicks, no system disruptions, and no ad-ditional effort for users.
